I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude for this extraordinary opportunity. It is a great honor for me to be able to present my work "Mother's Love" here in the impressive and significant St. James' Church.
This church is not only a place of faith and history, but also a place of great art and cultural importance. That my work has found its place here fills me with deep respect and immense gratitude.
I would especially like to thank the committee and the board for the trust you have placed in me and my work. Receiving such a commission means a great deal to me. It is by no means a given, and I truly appreciate this trust.

Recently I have been trying to explore new techniques and materials. My new sculpture 'Distance' shows my bronze techniques. It was made during the first corona pandemic, when people had to distance themselves from everything and everyone. The sculpture shows that every human being - regardless of their origin - craves closeness and touch. In essence, we all have the same desires.”
